Pilkington Activ™ Blue Self-cleaning Solar Control Glass The Activ coating contains microcrystalline titanium dioxide. When the sun shines on the window the UV rays trigger a chemical reaction in the Activ coating (a photocatalytic process) which breaks down the dirt. When water hits glass, a hydrophilic effect is created and the water spreads evenly over the surface, instead of droplets, so runs off and takes dirt with it .

Specially designed for the optimum roof unit, Pilkington Activ™ Blue is a revolutionary new glass that is perfect for use in conservatories.
